Celebration of Independence Day and 30th anniversary of the Constitution in diplomatic missions of Tajikistan

On September 24, 2024, an official diplomatic reception was held in Baku, attended by heads and representatives of state bodies and Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan, diplomatic corps accredited in Baku, Azerbaijani public organizations, scientific, cultural and business communities, along with compatriots from Tajikistan.

In his speech, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilhom Abdurahmon informed about the development and achievements of the country in the period of State Independence, emphasizing the main and decisive role of the Founder of Peace and National Unity-Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Emomali Rahmon in this historic process for the Tajik people. The Ambassador also underscored the expansion of Tajikistan's international ties, its growing prestige on the world stage, and the continued development of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.

Additionally, in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a festive event was held on the occasion of 33rd anniversary of Tajikistan's Independence Day and the 30th anniversary of its Constitution. The event was attended by high-level representatives of the Saudi Government, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Riyadh, officials, representatives of business communities and media, as well as Tajik compatriots living in Saudi Arabia.

Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Akram Karimi in his congratulatory message outlined the achievements of the Independence era, emphasizing that under the wise leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Emomali Rahmon, Tajikistan continues to make significant progress towards protecting independence and sovereignty, strengthening the foundations of a democratic and legal state and implementing its priority strategies and goals.
