Northbound Lane Closure of N Rome Ave between W Sligh and W Hillsborough Avenues begins July 9 for Utility Repair

On July 9 at 9am, Wastewater Department crews are closing the northbound lane of N Rome Ave between W Sligh and W Hillsborough Avenues to repair a sewer lateral. Southbound traffic on Rome Avenue will not be impacted. Signage and traffic control devices will be on site to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses in the area. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.

This repair and restoration of the work area are scheduled to be completed no later than close of business on Friday, July 12. Normal traffic patterns will then resume.
