NRDC Reaction: Chairwoman Stabenow Introduces Senate Farm Bill

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Senate Agriculture Committee Chair Debbie Stabenow today introduced the Senate Farm Bill, which includes critical investments to support farmers, strengthen rural communities, and address the climate crisis.

By preserving the historic climate-smart agriculture funding from the Inflation Reduction Act, investing in a new generation of small-scale farmers, and strengthening nutrition assistance, this bill equips farmers and rural communities with the resources to adapt, grow, and thrive.
