State Police in Troop G make notable DWI arrests 6/21- 6/27

On June 22, 2024, at about 2:55 a.m. State Police of Brunswick stopped a vehicle in Troy, NY, for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as Kristie Burrell, 30, of Troy, NY. Burrell was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. She was transported to SP Brunswick for processing, where she recorded a 0.24% BAC. Burrell was issued tickets returnable to the Troy City Court on July 23, 2024, and released to a sober third party.

On June 22, 2024, at about 3:20 p.m., State Police of Brunswick stopped to check on a vehicle in the area of Main Street in Schaghticoke, NY, for an operator slumped over the wheel of a vehicle. The individual in the driver's seat was identified as Anthony Costanzo Jr., 35, of Mechanicville, NY. Costanzo Jr. was awoken during the investigation, and it was discovered that he had driven to the location. He was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to SP Brunswick for processing, where he recorded a 0.14% BAC. Further investigation discovered Costanzo Jr. has had a previous conviction in the last ten years. He was issued tickets returnable to the Schaghticoke Town Court on July 1, 2024, and released.

On June 23, 2024, at about 1:08 a.m. State Police of the Capital stopped a vehicle on Emmett Street in Albany, NY, for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as Joseph Lane, 42, of Albany, NY. Lane was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Capital for processing and recorded a 0.09% BAC. Further investigation discovered Lane has had a previous DWI conviction in the last ten years. He was issued tickets returnable to the Albany City Court on July 15, 2024, and released to a sober third party.

On June 23, 2024, at about 3:59 a.m. State Police of the Capital stopped a vehicle on Lark Street in Albany, NY, for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as Gabriel P. Korngold, 28, of Albany, NY. Korngold was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Capital for processing, where he recorded a 0.18% BAC. Korngold was issued tickets returnable to the Albany City Court on July 15, 2024, and released to a sober third party.

On June 24, 2024, at about 6:18 p.m., a State Police Investigator in an unmarked vehicle was approached by an operator who appeared to be impaired in the area of Taylor Hill Road in Granville, NY. The driver was identified as Ronald L. Boudreau, 65, of Greenwich, NY. Boudreau was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Granville for processing, where he recorded a 0.22% BAC. Boudreau was issued tickets returnable to the Granville Town Court on July 29, 2024, and released to a sober third party.

On June 26, 2024, at about 10:45 p.m., State Police assigned to the Latham Interstate Patrol stopped a vehicle on Central Avenue in Colonie, NY, for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as Marcus Barrolle, 33, of Albany, NY. Two children under the age of 16 were also observed in the vehicle. Barrolle was arrested for two counts of Driving While Intoxicated with a Child (Leandra's Law), two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. The children were turned over to a family friend. Barrolle was transported to SP Latham for processing, where he recorded a 0.23% BAC. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Colonie Town Court on July 17, 2024, and released to a sober third party.
