**UPDATE**Silver Alert: Assistance Needed Locating Missing Olla Man
Update - The Silver Alert for 93-year-old William Edward Browning has been canceled. He has been located and is safe. Please refer all inquiries about this case to the Olla Police Department. Thank you for the assistance.

LaSalle Parish - Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Olla Police Department for 93-year-old William Edward Browning. He was last seen at the Olla U.S. Post Office on Main Street in Olla on October 12, 2024, at approximately 7:30 a.m. He was discovered missing at 9:00 a.m. by his caregiver.
Browning is a white male with gray hair and hazel eyes. He is approximately 5'7" tall and weighs approximately 160 lbs. He is believed to be driving a 2013 silver Toyota Camry with Louisiana license plate H0475868.
Browning suffers from a medical condition that impairs his judgment.
Anyone having any information regarding the whereabouts of Browning should immediately contact the Olla Police Department at 318-992-2151 or local law enforcement by dialing 911.
