SCDOT to implement extended lane closure on I-77 Southbound in York County for bridge maintenance

​Columbia, S.C. (September 20, 2024)-The South Carolina Department of Transportation will implement an extended lane closure on I-77 Southbound in Rock Hill over Dave Lyle Boulevard beginning September 20 at 8 p.m. This lane closure will allow crews to complete bridge maintenance. The closure is expected to be removed by 2 p.m. September 23.

The work will take place on the two outside lanes of I-77 Southbound. A map of the affected area is below.

Drivers are asked to slow down and pay attention to signs and crews when driving through a work zone. You can plan your route ahead of time by using SCDOT's 511 SC app or by visiting 511sc.org.​​
