Surrey Fire and Rescue Service to take part in Edenbridge and Oxted Agricultural show

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) is pleased to announce its participation in this year's Edenbridge and Oxted Agricultural Show on Sunday 25^th August and Monday 26^th August . As one of the region's premier events, the show presents a perfect opportunity for SFRS to engage with the community, share essential safety advice, and offer interactive demonstrations.

Throughout the event, the SFRS team will be on hand to provide visitors with valuable fire safety tips and hands-on demonstrations. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to see up close the specialised equipment used by firefighters in emergency situations. This interactive experience is designed to educate the public on fire prevention and the critical role of SFRS in keeping the community safe.

A highlight of the SFRS presence at the show will be the chance for visitors to learn more about the Community Risk Management Programme (CRMP). This initiative encourages the public to share their thoughts and feedback on the fire service's operations and upcoming plans, ensuring that SFRS continues to meet the needs of the community effectively.

Chief Fire Officer Dan Quin shared his excitement about the event, saying, "We're delighted to once again be part of the Edenbridge and Oxted Agricultural Show.
