Three arrested for burglary in the town of Altona

On November 14, 2024, State Police arrested Michelle Olivieri, age 55, and Gelando G. Olivieri, age 49, both of Champlain, NY, for burglary 3rd, and Daniel H. Olivieri, age 53, of Champlain, NY, of Champlain, NY, for burglary 2nd.

On November 13, 2024, at approximately 3:58 p.m., State Police members responded to Alder Bend Road in the town of Altona for a report of a burglary. An investigation determined that Daniel entered the residence, stealing belongings, while Michelle and Gelando were at the residence but did not enter. All three were known to be on the residence's property and stealing property.

Michelle, Gelando, and Daniel were arrested and transported to SP Champlain for processing. They were arraigned in the Town of Ellenburg Court. Michelle and Gelando were released on their own recognizance, and Daniel was released under probation supervision.
