Veterans Day Events in SC-05

It was my honor to attend two incredible Veterans Day events in SC-05 this weekend.

On Sunday, I visited Lakewood Baptist Church in Rock Hill, where I had the privilege of recognizing over one hundred Veterans and their family members, and thank them for their sacrifices to ensure our freedoms. Pastor Jerry Devinney and Terry Gregory do a tremendous job each November of putting on a phenomenal program to thank our Veterans for their service!

On Monday, I spoke at the Lancaster County Parks and Recreation's Veterans Day Ceremony at the Buford Battleground site, where I was able to speak on what Veterans Day means to me and so many other Americans. I was also able to honor my good friend, Vic Dabney, for his incredible service in the United States Army.
