Bridge Replacement Project to Begin Next Week on Route 514 in Troy Township, Bradford County

Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised that starting next week, a portion of Route 514 will be closed in Troy Township, Bradford County, for a bridge replacement project.

Starting on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, Route 514 will be closed between Route 14 and 2 miles west of Windfall Road (Route 3028), while the contractor, Nestlerode, begins work on the bridge replacement over South Branch Sugar Creek. Work on the project includes removal of the existing culvert pipe, installation of a new box culvert, roadway reconstruction, resurfacing, line painting, and guide rail upgrades.

A detour using Route 14 and Windfall Road (Route 3028) will be in place for the duration of the project.

Nestlerode is the prime contractor for this $1,266,468 bridge replacement project. Work is expected to be completed in October 2024, weather permitting.
