PPB Partners with OSP and Transit Police for Criminal Interdiction Mission (Photo)

On Thursday, October 24, 2024, the East Precinct Neighborhood Response Team partnered with the Oregon State Police (OSP) and Transit Police to conduct a critical criminal interdiction mission. The primary objective of this operation was to apprehend individuals engaged in illegal drug use, with a particular focus on those actively dealing drugs within the community.

The mission specifically targeted the Northeast 122nd corridor, an area identified by community members and police as having significant issues related to drug-related activities. This corridor runs between Northeast Halsey Street and East Burnside Street.
