This week, ASPPH hosted the 2024 ASPPH Sections Retreat in Boston, MA. Over 300 attendees from our Academic Affairs, Data, Diversity & Inclusion, Finance & Administration, Marketing & Communications, Practice, Research, and Student Affairs Sections joined us, making this our largest Sections Retreat to date.
The retreat began with an opening plenary session titled, "Navigating Turbulent Waters: Reflecting on Current Academic Challenges and the Impact on the Student Experience." The session was moderated by Matthew Chamberlin, Associate Dean, Communications and Marketing
University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health.
The plenary also featured the following panelists:
In addition to the plenary and general sessions, each Section hosted sessions developed specifically for their group.
We are truly grateful to all our Section members who participated in the retreat and for their willingness to share their experiences and expertise with their colleagues.
