NAACP Attends 2024 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity

WASHINGTON - Last week, NAACP President and CEO Derrick Johnson, alongside other members of the NAACP's national leadership team, represented the advertising and communications industry of Black America at the 71st edition of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

"The NAACP was proud to represent Black America at the Cannes Lions Festival. We know that Black culture is a driving force behind creativity. It's only right that our community is represented in every space we are influencing," said Derrick Johnson, NAACP President and CEO. "From the amplification of diverse voices to the enrichment of global perspectives, and showcasing of the art of activism, we are confident that our continued presence in this space will advance our community and have a pivotal impact on the broader culture. The NAACP is proud to continue convening with industry leaders, delegates, artists and influencers to effect innovative change across the globe."
