Trowbrook Bridge to close for mainentance work
Related topics: Highways, transport and environmental maintenanceTrowbrook Bridge - which carries an unclassified road over Trow Brook near Broadstone - will be closed from 25 November 2024 for two days, for maintenance work.
The work involves removal of vegetation from the structure and repairs to the upstream parapet.
To carry out the work safely it will be necessary to close the bridge to vehicular traffic between 8am and 4pm each day.
When the bridge is closed, traffic will be diverted via local roads by a signed diversion route.
Access over the bridge for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will remain available throughout the work.
The work will be carried out by Shropshire Council's term maintenance contractor, Kier with supervision being provided by WSP on behalf of Shropshire Council.
