On September 8th, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira, will make an official visit to Muscat, in the Sultanate of Oman, where he will hold meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sayyid Badr Bin Hamad Bin Hamood Al Busaidi, the Minister of Energy and Minerals, Salim Al Aufi, and the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, Saud bin Hamoud Al Habsi. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Brazil and Oman.
During the visit, topics of bilateral relations, as well as regional and global issues of mutual interest, will be discussed.
In 2023, bilateral trade totaled USD 1.86 billion, with Brazilian exports amounting to USD 1.19 billion.
