La Plata County weather app now available on all platforms

The La Plata County Weather Radar app is now available for Android devices via the Google Play store. Just search "La Plata County Weather Radar." The weather radar app and information has been available on Apple devices and on the web since October, but the Android version had been delayed due to a longer than expected administrative process to publish the app on Google.

La Plata County's regional weather radar, located at the Durango-La Plata County Airport, greatly increases the coverage and accuracy of weather prediction in Southwest Colorado. More information on the radar, including a work session detailing the capabilities of the system, can be viewed on the La Plata County website.
