Beijing Chaoyang District Builds Garden-Style Street Block

In October, Beijing's first garden-style demonstration block and Chaoyang District's first - Ritan Green Shared Street Block - officially opened, creating a natural, relaxed urban green space for residents.

Covering 19,400 square meters, the Ritan Green Shared Street Block blends street scenery with park landscapes, seamlessly integrating expansive garden-style spaces with street-side greenery. On the east side of Ritan Park, a sports area now features smart facilities, forming an outdoor intelligent gym. Outside the park's west gate, an urban green space has been converted into a smart service station with intelligent seating, smart lockers, and other convenient amenities for residents.

The Ritan Green Shared District creates a garden-city landscape where "the city blends into the scenery, and the scenery blends into the city."

Citizens are doing exercises at the outdoor smart gym.

The smart service station is equipped with intelligent vending machines and smart lockers.
