Route U in Wright and Douglas Counties Reduced for Pavement Repairs

Sikeston- Route U in Wright and Douglas Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 11-foot width restriction as construction crews perform pavement repairs.

This section of roadway is located from Route A in Wright County to Route 76 in Douglas County.

As construction is underway, flaggers will be present, and traffic will be guided through the work zone by a pilot car.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Sept. 9 through Monday, Oct. 7 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
