Mount St. Joseph University Announces Enrollment Growth for Fall 2024

As of the first day of classes, the Mount has seen an overall enrollment growth of seven percent compared to last year.

CINCINNATI - Mount St. Joseph University (Mount) is proud to announce a significant increase in student enrollment for the Fall 2024 semester, reflecting the University's continued commitment to serving students by delivering a personalized, values-based academic experience that prepares them for their careers and a life with purpose.

As of the first day of classes, the Mount has seen an overall enrollment growth of seven percent compared to last year. This growth includes a four percent increase in undergraduate enrollment and an impressive twelve percent rise in graduate enrollment.

"Our enrollment growth and the increasing diversity of our student body are testaments to the dynamic community we've built here at the Mount," said President H. James Williams, Ph.D. "By investing in state-of-the-art facilities like, the Centennial Field House, and revitalizing spaces, like the Archbishop Alter Library and the new Joe Lion's Grille, we are creating an environment in which every student has the opportunity to thrive."

The Mount is particularly proud of the 13 percent increase in the enrollment of diverse students across the University. "We are incredibly proud of the strong enrollment numbers. These statistics highlight the Mount's commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive community that fosters a sense of belonging among students from all backgrounds," said Chris Powers, vice president of enrollment at the Mount.

The Mount's focus on student success is evident in its 95.9 percent career placement rate after graduation. The University offers a vibrant campus life that includes championship Division III NCAA athletics programs and facilities.
