Forsyth County Board of Commissioners Proclaims Oct. 19-27, 2024, Family Promise Week
At a regular meeting on Oct. 17, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners proclaimed the week of Oct. 19-27, 2024, as Family Promise Week.
According to Family Promise of Forsyth County, Inc., over 620 Forsyth County Schools students identified as homeless this school year with an approximate 1,099 students identifying as homeless last year.
The Board encourages all residents to recognize and raise awareness of the issue of children and families experiencing homelessness in our community during this time.
