**UPDATE** Silver Alert: Assistance Needed Locating Bossier City Man

Update - The Silver Alert for 86-year-old Malvern Hannum has been canceled. Please refer all inquiries about this case to the Bossier City Police Department. Thank you for your assistance.

Bossier City -The Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Bossier City Police Department for 86-year-old Malvern Hannum. He was last seen at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at his home on Pluto Drive in Bossier City. He was discovered missing at approximately 4:00 p.m. LSP received the request to issue an alert at approximately 1:30 p.m. this afternoon.

Hannum is a white male with gray hair and hazel eyes. He is 6'2" tall and weighs approximately 210 pounds. Hannum was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and is believed to be traveling on foot in an unknown direction. The type of clothing on his lower extremity is unknown.
