Drive-by Shooting with Multiple Victims

August 21, 2024 [FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE]

On Friday, August 16, 2024, at approximately 10:00 P.M., officers responded to the 2300 block of W 15th St. (Donley Park) on a report of a shooting. Multiple victims were found with gunshot wounds.

Several juveniles were gathered at the park when a vehicle drove by and began to shoot at the juveniles. Two male juveniles and one female sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to local hospitals. The female juvenile had multiple gunshot wounds and due to the seriousness of her injuries, was transferred to a hospital in Colorado Springs.

This incident is currently under investigation.
