Las Vegas Book Festival Returns To Downtown Las Vegas This Saturday, Oct. 19, With Headliners John Waters, Tracy Wolff and Nicola Yoon

This Free Event Is Open To All Ages

LAS VEGAS (Oct. 15, 2024) - The Las Vegas Book Festival, now in its 23rd year, returns this Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with headliners John Waters, Tracy Wolff and Nicola Yoon. The free annual event is held in downtown Las Vegas at the Historic Fifth Street School, 401 S. Fourth St., and is open to all ages.

The festival will feature a variety of programming, including panel discussions, workshops, readings and children's activities. There will be bilingual offerings as well as book signings. A full schedule of festival activities is available here.

Free parking is available at the lot near the Lloyd D. George U.S. Courthouse, 333 S. Las Vegas Blvd.; the entrance is on Sixth Street south of Bridger Avenue. All-day $5 parking is available at the City Hall Parking Garage at 500 S. Main St. and the City Centre Garage at 455 S. The Las Vegas Book Festival is the largest literary event in Nevada, produced by the city of Las Vegas and Nevada Humanities, along with many sponsors and supporters, including News 3, Audacy Radio, Las Vegas Review-Journal/Las Vegas Sun, NV Energy, The Mayor's Fund for Las Vegas LIFE, Nevada Public Radio, Spread the Word Nevada, Nevada Center for the Book and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
