The City of Bellevue is accepting applications from organizations seeking to provide opioid education, prevention and connection services. The funding opportunity is up to $50,000 annually, with a possible extension for up to four years. Proposals can be submitted through 4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 3.

Background
Several companies involved in opioid manufacturing, distribution and marketing were sued for contributing to the opioid crisis. As part of the resulting settlement, Bellevue and other Washington cities received funds to be used to address the opioid crisis. King County's Opioid Abatement Council and Bellevue's opioid settlement work group provide oversight on the use of these funds.
