Cambridge Senior Center Celebrates 29th Anniversary

On Thursday October 31, the Cambridge Senior Center celebrated its 29th anniversary! Older adults and Council on Aging staff marked the milestone with lunch, music, and dancing.

The Cambridge Senior Center (806 Massachusetts Ave.), opened in October of 1995. Over nearly three decades, it has offered a variety of programming, events, social and support groups, and activities to Cambridge residents age 60 and older. Staff at the Cambridge Senior Center also provide Medicare consultations and referrals to local agencies.

Through the Cambridge Senior Center and North Cambridge Senior Center (2050 Massachusetts Ave.), the Council on Aging furthers its mission to enhance the lives or older adults and support their health, wellness, and safety.
