Portion of Natchez Trace scheduled for overnight closure Aug. 12–16

From Monday, Aug. 13, to Friday, Aug. 16, Natchez Trace will be closed between Vanderbilt Place and Jess Neely Drive. Road work on this stretch will happen 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.; during the day metal plates will cover the area to maintain two-way traffic flow.

Pedestrian pathways in the area will be open. Traffic controllers will be in the area to help direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

VEHICLES (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.)

• Take Blakemore Avenue to Natchez Trace and turn left to access lots 73, 74 and 75 and the McGugin Center.

• Children's Way, 25th Avenue South and 24th Avenue South can be accessed from Blakemore Avenue.
