Wyden Announces Town Hall Next Week in Clackamas County

Oct. 8 town hall at Camp Withycombe in Happy Valley will be senator's 1,100th in fulfillment of his pledge to hold at least one annual town hall in each of Oregon's 36 counties.

Portland - U.S. Senator Ron Wyden today announced he will hold an open-to-all town hall on Tuesday, Oct. 8 in Clackamas County.

This 11 am town hall at Camp Withycombe (15300 SE Industrial Way, Happy Valley) will be Wyden's 35^th so far this year and his 1,100^th overall -- honoring his promise to hold at least one town hall each year in each of our state's 36 counties.

"The Oregon Way draws strength each time Oregonians come out in communities small and large to have face-to-face conversations sharing ideas and questions that lead to solutions," Wyden said. "I'm honored every time in every county in our state when Oregonians show the entire country how to hold open-to-all meetings with direct conversations that make our communities and state even better places to live and work. I'm eager to hear from Clackamas County at my 1,100^th town hall, and just as eager to continue this tradition of holding town halls all across Oregon."

Doors will open 30 minutes before the town halls for attendees.
