Town of Davie Seeks Restaurant Participation for Its Veterans Voucher Program

DAVIE, Fla. - In observance of the upcoming Veterans Day holiday, the Town of Davie is relaunching the Veterans Voucher Program for its fourth consecutive year. Davie restaurants interested in participating in this program are asked to submit their information now through October 11, 2024.

The program will provide one $30 meal voucher to 100 eligible Davie veterans for them to dine at a participating Davie restaurant. Vouchers will have no cash value and alcoholic beverages will not be covered by the program. Veterans and restaurants taking part in the program will be notified of the timeframe to redeem the vouchers.

Restaurants interested in participating must meet the following requirements:

• Must be located within the Town of Davie
• Possess a valid Business Tax Receipt (BTR)
• Hold no outstanding code fines, liens, or active cases

To apply, qualifying restaurants can fill out the Restaurant Participation Form here. Town staff will review the restaurant's information before they are accepted into the program.

Participating restaurants are expected to contribute $5 per voucher, with the Town contributing $25. Restaurants will be reimbursed for redeemed vouchers the week immediately following the conclusion of the voucher program.
