Meadowview and North Highlands communities invited to Meet SMUD

Resources for residents, job seekers and small businesses

On September 24 and 26, SMUD will host two "Meet SMUD" events at the Florin Square Community Development Corporation and the North Highlands Recreation & Park District.

Attendees of the Meet SMUD events will learn about SMUD's Residential Assistance Programs and energy-saving opportunities, including the Energy Assistance Program Rate (EAPR), Medical Equipment Discount and Energy Saver Bundles. Resource tables will provide information on careers in clean energy and zero carbon sectors, small business opportunities through SMUD's SEED program and ways to participate in the CleanPowerCity® movement.

Attendees can enjoy an induction cooking demonstration by a local chef, explore community support services and sign up for SMUD programs onsite. The first 100 attendees will receive food and swag bags.
