M. Annie Houghton-Larsen, an associate in Willkie's Litigation Department, has been profiled in the
Chambers DEI Global Report 2024 in recognition of her commitment to pro bono advocacy and work to uphold election integrity.
The publication focused on Annie's recent experience as a member of the Willkie team that won a $148 million jury verdict for Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Wandrea ArShaye (Shay) Moss in their defamation suit against Rudy Giuliani. Willkie brought the suit alongside co-counsel from DuBose Miller and Protect Democracy.
"As attorneys, we know that the law can be an incredibly powerful force for good," Annie told
Chambers. "But that powerful force cannot be unleashed without the commitment of attorneys and the institutional support of the firms they work for."
The inaugural
Chambers DEI Global Report 2024 highlights the latest DEI and pro bono developments from regions around the world and features insights on emerging themes globally.
