Louisiana Enacts Emergency Rule 49

Louisiana has enacted Emergency Rule 49. Among other provisions, the rule stipulates that no policy should be cancelled or nonrenewed solely due to a claim that is filed as a result of Hurricane Francine or its aftermath. The rule outlines the parishes and lines of insurance to which it is applicable.
