Tabbed an expert on the company site, Frazer provided insight recently in an article titled "Best Balance Transfer Credit Cards for Bad Credit."

While the article included a review of several credit card options by the WalletHub staff, Frazer's commentary centered on what key factors consumers who are experiencing bad credit should consider when choosing a balance transfer credit.

"Balance transfer credit cards may improve consumers' creditworthiness, savings, and cash flow, but on the other hand it can lead to unintended negative consequences," said Frazer in his advice. "Consumers must keep an eye out for annual fees, transfer credit card fees, interests, time, and penalty payment."

He went on to explain areas of concern and opportunities available in those areas and potential benefits like rewards programs that might be valuable.

WalletHub offers free consumer tools -- which provides users with credit reports, credit scores and credit monitoring -- along with content that includes tools for comparing credit cards, personal loans, car insurance and bank accounts. Launched in August 2013, WalletHub is owned by Evolution Finance, Inc. and is headquartered in Miami, FL.
