Queens County - The New York State Franchise Oversight Board, as lead agency, has made the Final Scope for the proposed Resorts World Casino Expansion Phase 2 available. The action involves the proposed expansion of the existing Resorts World New York City (RWNYC) resort and casino, including installation and operation of live table games. The Expansion Project would result in a total of 5,148,000 ± gross square foot comprised of the following elements: 1,479,000 ± gross square foot of hotel space (up to 2,000 hotel keys); 684,000 ± gross square foot of casino/gaming facility space (up to 11,000 gaming positions); 89,000 ± gross square foot of function/event space; 183,000 ± gross square foot of arena space (up to 7,000 seats); 189,000 ± gross square foot of retail and restaurant space; 77,000 ± gross square foot of lobby and public circulation; 289,000 ± gross square foot of other support space including a 97,000 ± gross square foot central utility plant and 67,000 ± gross square foot conservatory; and 7,000 ± parking spaces. The project is located at 110-00 Rockaway Boulevard (Queens Block 11543, p/o Lot 2) in Jamaica, Queens, New York.
