Congressman Thompson Announces National Science Foundation Award to Millsaps College

This project aims to serve the national interest by establishing evidence-based classroom practices designed to help students embrace their own agency as learners. By tracking changes in both faculty and student mindsets after experiencing STEM courses taught in traditional classrooms and in spaces designed to facilitate active learning, the project seeks to contribute to a broader understanding of promoting active, evidence-based teaching practices in higher education.
