The Oneida County Board of Elections is proud to join communities across the country in celebrating National Voter Registration Day today, September 17, 2024. As part of this annual nationwide effort, the Board of Elections encourages all eligible citizens to ensure they are registered to vote, that their voter registration is up to date, and they are ready for the upcoming elections.
National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan civic holiday dedicated to helping Americans register to vote and stay engaged in the electoral process. Since its inception in 2012, this holiday has helped over 5 million voters register or update their registration. With the 2024 General Election rapidly approaching, it's more important than ever for voters to check their registration status and make any necessary updates.
