CareFest, St. Pete's Two-Month Long Community Giving Event, Returns

September 13, 2024 - St. Pete's CareFest is back this fall. Partnering with Somebody Cares Tampa Bay, the City of St. Petersburg encourages community members to participate in volunteering projects and more to give back to the community. CareFest is running now through Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024.

Community members can adopt local projects like painting, repairing fences, landscaping, and more to help community members in need and beautify St. Pete neighborhoods.

Ways to Participate

  1. Adopt a Project:Pick a local project from our list of adoptable projects at stpete.org/AdoptAProject.

  2. Organize a Neighborhood Project: Neighborhood leaders can initiate a neighborhood cleanup or project.

  3. Host a Donation Drive: Collect items to donate to local nonprofit organizations.

  4. Donate Funds: Make a donation at a Power of Change Donation Station located throughout downtown St. Pete to support homeless services, or make easy, automatic donations through your City utility bill by signing up for the Utility Assistance Program.

CareFest may run through Oct. 31, but community members are encouraged to give back to their community all year long.
