Declaration of Temporary Housing and Shelter Emergency

PUEBLO - Mayor of Pueblo Heather Graham issued a declaration of temporary housing and shelter emergency for the City of Pueblo beginning, Sunday, July 28, 2024. This is pursuant to the provision of Ordinance No. 10058 and the declaration commences at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2024, until 7:00 p.m. and again July 29-31 each day with the same time of 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day.

During this emergency, local churches, synagogues, mosques, temples and other religious institutions may utilize their buildings as temporary shelters for the City's homeless.

The National Weather Service predicts high temperatures of over 100 degrees each of these days.
