Suspect et personne d’intérêt à identifier dans un vol qualifié commis dans un magasin

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday October 4, 2024 4:17 p.m.

(Ottawa) - The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking the public assistance in identifying a suspect and person of interest involved in a commercial robbery in the 1000 block of Wellington Street West on August 27th.

At approximately 4:00 am, the suspect entered the store approached the staff and pulled out a knife. The suspect demanded products and then fled the store on a bicycle east on Wellington Street.

The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6'0" (184 cm) tall, slim to medium build. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a multi-coloured top, blue jeans, a bright orange or pink baseball hat, a fabric mask, and dark colored shoes with white trim.

The second male is a person of interest related to events after the robbery. They are described as a white male, approximately 5'8" (173 cm) tall, mid to late 20's early 30's, approximately 160lbs (73 kg) and a slim build. He was seen wearing a black t-shirt, red Chicago Bulls basketball shorts, white running style shoes, headphones around his neck and travels on a bicycle.
