DALLAS - With the first day of school fast approaching, Dallas ISD wants to ensure families are registered for the new school year. The district's ONE Centers are open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for families to receive hands-on assistance with the application and enrollment process.

United to Learn helps teachers cool down before classes begin
Media is invited to capture visuals at at 11 a.m., tomorrow, Aug. 8., as Gilbert Cuellar Sr. Elementary School teachers receive a sweet surprise ahead of the first day of school, courtesy of United to Learn. The U2L team will bring a popsicle cart to help teachers cool down and recharge as they prepare their classrooms.

Aviation internship helps students soar
This summer, Skyline High School aviation students interned with the Commemorative Air Force. The internship, which gave students hands-on experiences to work on a World War II bomber and aviation maintenance, will continue throughout the 2024-2025 school year. By completing the FAA general test, students are advancing their careers as future airplane mechanics, addressing a critical need in this essential field.
