Man Charged with Aggravated Robbery of Gas Station Clerk

September 30, 2024, Peoria, IL- Today, Jaylin Howard-Bradley, 22, was charged with Aggravated Robbery after robbing a gas station clerk at gunpoint over the weekend. The State's Petition to Detain was denied, and the judge released him from custody on conditions.

On Saturday around 11:30 pm, deputies were dispatched to Circle K on Farmington Rd. on a report of an armed robbery. When they arrived, the gas station clerk told deputies that he was restocking shelves when he felt an object poke into his back and someone behind him demanding cash. The clerk complied and gave the robber, identified as Howard-Bradley, all the cash from the register. Howard-Bradley then fled the scene. He was taken into custody a short time later in Central Peoria.
