UMass Amherst and Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce to Host Annual Community Breakfast Aug. 27

UMass Amherst and the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Community Breakfast Tuesday, Aug. 27, from 7:30-9 a.m. in the Student Union Ballroom. <_o3a_p>

The Community Breakfast traditionally marks the beginning of the academic year and offers a chance for representatives of the local, academic and business communities to meet and discuss common goals and issues. <_o3a_p>

Catered by the award-winning UMass Dining, the breakfast is an opportunity to reconnect with community and campus leaders, welcome newcomers and see old friends, as the university and the Amherst area embarks on the Fall semester.<_o3a_p>

Tickets are available in advance for $16 per person when registered and paid by noon on Monday, Aug. 26. Tickets will also be available at the door for $25 per person. Free parking will be available in the Campus Center Garage.<_o3a_p>
