NOVEMBER 5, 2024 - The U.S. Census Bureau and the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) are set to co-host the first Collaborative Academic Symposium "Puerto Rico en Datos" (Translation: Puerto Rico in Data) in Carolina, Puerto Rico, on Friday, November 15 starting at 8 a.m. AST. The event is a joint effort as part of a memorandum of agreement (MOA) between the Census Bureau and UPR signed last year by Census Bureau Director Robert Santos and UPR President Dr. Luis Ferrao.

  • Explore the data needs from the perspective of local government and academia.
  • Educate on how data have helped make informed decisions.
