SANTA ANA, Calif. - The City of Santa Ana is excited to continue the Shop Local, Shop Santa Ana campaign showcasing the small businesses that make Santa Ana such a vibrant and unique community. This initiative aligns with the nationwide Small Business Saturday on November 30, and runs through the end of the year.
Locally-owned businesses are the backbone of our local economy and the foundation of Santa Ana's unique culture. Shopping local has a multiplier effect in the community, as local businesses are more likely to recirculate purchase dollars into the local economy, leading to more jobs and sales-tax revenue for Santa Ana.
"This holiday season, we invite you to Shop Local, Shop Santa Ana," Mayor Valerie Amezcua said. "Residents and visitors alike can join in the festive spirit by choosing Santa Ana's small businesses for their holiday shopping and dining. From charming boutiques to cozy cafes and eateries, there's something for everyone in our community."
Santa Ana small businesses can actively engage in this campaign by subscribing to the business registry here. Shoppers can show their support by sharing their local finds on social media using the hashtag #ShopSantaAna and tagging @santaanadoesbusiness.
Let's come together to support our local businesses and celebrate what makes Santa Ana truly special.
