Oliver Inlet SMP Tram Improvements Project No. 79199-2

INVITATION TO BIDDERS

The State of Alaska, Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, subject to the provisions of AS 41.21.020 will receive sealed bids for

Oliver Inlet SMP Tramp Improvement near Juneau , Alaska.

Work includes:

This project includes repairs the Oliver Inlet tram by repair aluminum walkway and rail gauge rods as well as installing a tram terminal at Seymour Canal. The tram improvements span 500 L.F. of existing tram rail starting at Seymour Calan, ending at Oliver Inlet. Additive Alternative No. 1 will include installation of water access pathway from the Tram Terminal to the water's edge. Additive Alternative No. 2 will include removal and disposal of debris piles at various locations along existing tram route. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to complete the demolition at the location shown, in conformance with the attached Plans and Specifications.

The bids will be received until 2:00pm prevailing time on May 10, 2022, at the Division's Anchorage office, 550 W 7th Avenue, Suite 1340, Anchorage, Alaska 99501-3565. The Department will assemble, open, and then publicly announce the timely-received bids at 550 W. 7th Avenue, Suite 1340; Anchorage, AK 99501, at 2:15PM, or as soon thereafter as practicable.

Bids may be held by the Division for a period of forty (40) calendar days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders prior to awarding the contract.
