A popular Christmas carol service returns to Mintlyn Crematorium on Tuesday 10 December 2024 at 7pm.
The crematorium introduced this family-friendly carol service in 2018 and it has raised hundreds of pounds for charity. This year they will be supporting The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, as well as the Mayor's charities. Guests will be invited to make a voluntary donation for a special message tag to place on the Christmas Tree of Memories.
The Chapel will open from 6:30pm with the service starting at 7pm led by Father Adrian Ling and civil celebrant Verne Lee. Music will be provided by resident Mintlyn organist Mr Jonathan Chaddock with Singers Inspired, a community choir from Downham Market.
Cllr Bal Anota, Cabinet member for Events and Open Spaces at the borough council, will be providing one of the readings and Mayor of King's Lynn & West Norfolk, Cllr Paul Bland, will also be attending the service.
Mince pies, tea and coffee will be served after the service.
This is a free event for everyone to attend but, due to its popularity, a ticket will be required for entry, alternatively the service will be webcast for those unable to attend, please email [email protected] or telephone 01553 630533 for tickets or webcast log-on details.
Mintlyn Crematorium is located on Lynn Road, Bawsey, King's Lynn PE32 1HB.
