Holiday Closing | Independence Day
June 27, 2024 - The City of Davenport will observe Independence Day as a holiday on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
City Hall and Public Works will be closed. The Committee of the Whole Meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
Police Department front desk and Records Bureau will be closed.
Main, Fairmount, and Eastern Library branches will be closed.
Parks and Recreation administrative offices will be closed.
The River's Edge facility will be closed.
RiverCenter and Adler Theatre administrative offices and the Adler Theatre box office will be closed.
Vander Veer Conservatory will be closed.
CitiBus services will not be provided.
Compost Facility will be closed.
Garbage, recycling, bulky waste, and yard waste collection will be one day late Thursday and Friday with Monday-Wednesday pick-up occurring on regularly scheduled days. Friday pick-up will be on Saturday. Please refer to the solid waste collection calendar for the holiday schedule and more information.
