As part of the global 16 Days of Action campaign against Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), Thurrock Council will host two community engagement sessions on Thursday 28 November.
These sessions are aimed at building connections within the community, raising awareness of VAWG, and sharing important resources to enhance public safety and support.
Members of the council will be joined by partners from the VAWG board, who will provide information, answer questions, and offer resources to those attending.
The events are open to all members of the community:
Visitors to the sessions will be able to take home safety-promoting items, such as personal alarms and drink spiking tops.
