Georgia DOT to install 4-way stop at Emanuel County intersection

[Link]
Twin City, Ga. - The Georgia Department of Transportation is preparing to implement a 4-way stop at State Route 26/United States 80 and State Route 121.

On Monday, July 29, crews are scheduled to change the traffic pattern at this intersection by installing red flashing lights, rumble strips and stop signs on SR 26/US 80. Existing red flashing lights, rumble strips and stop signs on SR 121 will remain.

These additional safety measures are expected to reduce the number of crashes at this intersection.

Advisory: Scheduled work date is subject to change depending on weather conditions. Drivers are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, stay alert, and watch for workers. Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions. Call 511, visit 511ga.org, or download the Georgia 511 app.
