Board Proclaims July as Parks and Recreation Month
At the July 3 Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board proclaimed July as Parks and Recreation Month in Pinal County. The Proclamation was read into the record by staff from Pinal County Open Space, Trails, and Regional Parks, who are pictured below with the Board (L to R) Jasmine Guillen, Steven Taylor, Brenna Murphy, Kelley Fox, and Samuel Bleich.
Pinal County Open Space, Trails & Regional Parks provides outdoor leisure, recreation, environmental, cultural, and natural resource management services to residents and visitors so they can understand and enjoy the county's natural assets.
With Parks and Recreation Month landing in one of the hottest months in Arizona, Pinal County Open Space, Trails & Regional Parks want to encourage residents to recreate responsibly and not hike in the extreme heat.
