Geisinger Health Plan to host inaugural Senior Summer Pet Expo
DANVILLE, Pa. - Geisinger Health Plan is hosting its inaugural Senior Summer Pet Expo on Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at All Home Days Grounds on Memorial Park Avenue in Elysburg.
Attendees will learn how pets can enrich their lives by providing companionship, increasing physical health and overall well-being, and lowering stress levels.
The event will include:
• Local vendors
• Rescue organizations
• Dog walking path
• Pet photo contest
• Raffle prizes
• Therapy dogs
• Guest speakers
The rain date is Wednesday, Aug. 21.
